mr. Babette Broekman
Babette Broekman (1978) studied Law in Nijmegen has started her career as lawyer in 2005 at a large, nationally active law firm at the commercial real estate department. There, she mostly specialised in civil construction and real estate law in a combined practice of litigation and advice.
Via a detour as a consultant and developer, Babette, as legal counsel, has combined a further focus on social real estate (healthcare, housing corporations and municipalities) with a broad, general corporate law practice. Her experience as legal counsel is of great value in her work as lawyer. It connects her closely to the client with a pragmatic and problem-solving approach.
PROJECT (RE)DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION DISPUTES
Upon her return to advocacy, Babette devoted herself to contract drafting for (complex) project (re)development projects and dispute settlement in construction. Babette has graduated the specialisation in Project Development at the KNB in 2010. Babette mostly works for municipalities, healthcare institutions, housing corporations, contractors and developers.
