mr. Elout Korevaar

Elout Korevaar (1978) studied Law in Leiden. His studies brought in him touch with tenancy law. After graduating, he worked as a teacher and researcher at Leiden University. In 2006, he transferred to advocacy, where he further specialised in civil real estate law. He worked for various renowned firms and advised and litigated for governments, investors, healthcare institutions, lessors and retailers.

Elout advises on tenancy law, construction law and the sales and purchase of real estate.

His particular specialisation is large-scale renovations of residential areas and shopping malls, as well as rental price evaluation of retail space. Elout regularly teaches trainings on these topics. Aside from being a lawyer, he is a teacher in tenancy law at Leiden University. His available expertise combined with a vision broader than the dispute make him a beloved consultant for real estate disputes.

Elout has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar:

  • Tenancy law

According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar the registration obliges him to obtain ten training credits per year in each of the registered legal areas.

Elout is member of the Tenancy Law Lawyers’ Association and the Condominium Lawyers’ Association.
