mr. Tijn Slegers
Tijn Slegers joined Weebers Vastgoed Advocaten N.V. in October 2023. Previously, he worked as a (senior) lawyer in the environmental law practices of De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in Amsterdam and Van der Feltz Advocaten in The Hague.
In 2011, Tijn graduated from both the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University. In 2017 he successfully completed the Grotius specialization course in Environmental Law.
Tijn now has 12 years of experience in environmental law and, with his expertise in the real estate and energy sector, is involved in the realization and operation of large (housing) construction projects, wind and solar parks, geothermal projects and power plants. He has also provided assistance on several occasions in environmental law issues that arise during mergers and acquisitions in the real estate and energy sectors.
Tijn has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar:
- Environmental law
- Administrative law
According to the standards of the Netherlands Bar the registration obliges him to obtain ten training credits per year in each of the registered legal areas.
His clients include: project developers, investors, companies in the (chemical) industry, utilities and companies involved in (sustainable) energy projects. Tijn serves these clients in both a national and international context. He also works for local authorities, such as municipalities, provinces and environmental services.
